Getinge FD 1800 Front Load Flusher-Disinfector
The excellent cleaning and disinfection performance of Getinge FD1800 has made it a well-established flusher-disinfector for hospitals and nursing homes, operating reliably and efficiently in sluice rooms around the world.
Getinge FD1800 is a front-loaded flusherdisinfector that delivers excellent performance in the emptying, cleaning, thermal disinfection and drying of bedpans, urine bottles and commode buckets. Steam delivered through the chamber’s configuration of fixed and rotating nozzles produces results that meet the stringent cleaning and disinfection requirements of the European flusher disinfector standard, EN ISO 1588.
Flexible design
The new standard casing is made of colourful polymeric material, offering an attractive, modern design. Every model is fitted with a stainless steel chamber. Getinge FD1800 is also available as stainless steel model when required.
Drying fan as standard
Receptacles are rapidly dried and cooled in the most hygienic way using HEPA-filtered (H13) air. Dry and cool receptacles are delivered at the end of the cycle, improving staff safety and the working environment.
Automatic door function
To support hygienic non-contact routines, Getinge FD1800 has an option for an automatic door activated by an IR sensor. To improve choice in automatic door operation, a foot pedal option can also be chosen.
A0 setting & control
The A0 value can be set to 60 or 600 in order to fight even the toughest microorganisms. The disinfection phase can be controlled on temperature or on the chosen A0 value to further shorten the cycle time.
Remaining time sequence display
The display, showing the remaining time sequence in ten second intervals, allows staff to check on cycle progress, enabling them to plan their workflow more efficiently by reducing time spent waiting for the process to end.
Process record
Many healthcare facilities are moving towards greater transparency with detailed records of disinfection operations. With PACS 350 control system, Getinge FD1800 provides the option to record and track process operations via a printer or USB device.
Environmental-friendly operation
Exceptionally low consumption of water, energy and chemicals reduces overall impact on the environment and keeps operational costs to its minimum. Furthermore, low heat emissions and a low noise level contribute to a better working environment.
Optional IPX4 classification
With increased infection control awareness in hospital wards and departments all over the world, many patient rooms require a flusher disinfector in the adjoining bathroom. For safe wet room installations, IPX4 classification is recommended.
Pipe System Disinfection (PSD)
Rapid disinfection through all fixed and rotating nozzles also delivers a unique benefit, as the entire pipe and nozzle system is disinfected in every cycle, eliminating the risk of contamination.
