The 400 Series Sterilizer is supplied with a rack, adjustable support rails and two extendible shelves.
The 500 Series Sterilizer, can be supplied with the rack, adjustable support rails and shelves or a track assembly when a Load Car and Transfer Carriage is preferred.
Racks and adjustable shelves
The rack includes adjustable shelf supports and a method to stop a shelf half way out for loading and unloading. Shelves are easy to remove and are 15.75" (400mm) and 19.19" (487.4mm) wide.
Load car and transfer carriage
The Transfer Carriage is fabricated of tubular stainless steel frame with four swivel casters. A chamber locking rod secures the Transfer Carriage for loading and unloading and is unlocked by rotating the locking rod. A 4" (101.6mm) high bottom drawer is available for storage. The top is formed from stainless steel to support the Load Car. A locking mechanism holds the Load Car securely on the Transfer Carriage.
The load car has two shelves that are 18" (457mm) wide and 36.3" (921mm) long and are formed from 304 stainless steel material. Each shelf is designed to support up to 100 lbs. (45.4 kg) evenly distributed over the shelf. An interior chamber track assembly is required to provide a place for the Load Car wheels. The interior track is “V” shaped and each wheel has a matching “V” groove. The Track assembly keeps the Load Car off the chamber floor.

Wrapped instrument sets and devices or unwrapped porous or non-porous items are placed directly on the extendable shelves within the chamber; or are placed on the Load Car shelves prior to inserting the Load Car into the chamber and starting a sterilization cycle.
Rack and Shelves The fixed rack with shelf supports is mounted on each side of the sterilizer chamber walls. The shelf supports are adjustable on 2.5” (63mm) centers for load height adjustment. Rack and shelves are constructed of 304 stainless steel material. Assembly includes shelf stops. 400 Series shelves measure 15.75” (400mm) wide and 500 Series shelves are 19.19” (487mm) wide. Shelves are designed to hold 100 lbs. (45.4 Kg) evenly distributed on the shelf, but have a weight limit of 20 lbs. (9 Kg) when the shelf is in the fully extended position.
Each shelf is designed to support 100 lbs. (45.4 Kg) evenly distributed over the shelf. An interior Track assembly is required for the Load Car to ride on. The Track assembly keeps the Load Car off the chamber floor.
The Fixed Height Trolley is for ergonomic handling of loads between the packing area and each sterilizer, or between the sterilizer and sterile storage. The Trolley is fabricated of tubular stainless steel with four twin-wheel swivel casters, 4.9” (125mm) in diameter. The two rear casters feature brake locks and the two front casters feature directional (anti-swivel) locks. Press down to activate and push up to release locks.
The Trolley loading table is equipped with a manually operated load latch with two positions. Turn the latch handle full to the left to dock with the sterilizer and allow the Load Car to be inserted into the sterilizer chamber; or to unload the Load Car from the chamber. Turn the handle full to the right to undock the trolley from the sterilizer and lock the Load Car in place on the trolley.
