Although this type of ambulance is characterized by a drop-down "container" with pre-designed features to be placed on the chassis, effectively it is price effective since after the useful life of the ambulance it can be lifted-off and subsequently placed on a new chassis; but it lacks ease in faulty parts replacement at the moment some part (e.g. a door handle, lamo etc.) fail's, i.e. no standard replacement part can be procured in a very short span of time.
These mobile offices are useful to office atmosphere with a table and chair, including a waiting room for reception of said patients.
Has the basic amenities for patient care including stretcher, other medical specific like gas and computers, can be integrated by the hospital.
By placement of long vertical tinted glass, privacy can be ensured.
Because such mobile offices need to be self supporting, often there are lower an upper cabinets placed with often a wash table and possibly a generator in the lower cabinets; but all these are extra's and needs to be undertaken by the hospital.
Underframe support legs are fit to prevent the undesirable "rocking" of the van during internal movement of persons or the medical staff.
Often air-conditioning of the space is desirable.
Appropriate GSM fitting is mandatotory for communication with the hospital base.
